New Banner

Well I made a new banner to go along with the Star Trek theme and if anyone wants to use the banner here is a link to it in photoshop format http://www.box.net/shared/tdk46mce8w . But you must keep or add the credit to me for creating it.

If you want to have more flexibility with it just make a comment with a way to send it to you and you can get it.

Star Trek Official Site

They now have an official site which shows the trailer shown in cloverfield before it starts in High Definition. It is an interesting site. The most notable part for me was the fact that there is an “under construction” sign but when you hover your mouse over it, a red light flashes to the right side and if you click it you get linked to http://www.ncc-1701.com/ which definitely confirms the viral site is for the movie. Supposedly forums are coming soon from the site as well.

That’s all the new stuff I have found for now.

Star Trek “NCC-1701″ Movie Viral Site

The viral site is www.ncc-1701.com this takes a little bit of getting used to before you can start to get what is happening on this site.

First, you will see 4 camera screens however only 3 are giving you some kind of images.

4 Cameras

To make these images in focus, you must edit the numbers by pushing the small boxes until you get 100%. Once you do this you will see clear videos of pretty much welding.

Welding

Supposedly after a certain amount of time one can see a hallway appear on the camera not appearing to be working.

Here is a picture that others have found.

That’s all I got for now

Is the Voice Back or is it in a Different Form?

Well I just got an email asking to moderate a comment for this blog and guess what the user name was, “wethevoiceless”. I thought this whole thing had finally gone away but it seems it has not. The new person who seems to be some kind of voice possibly tied to the old one has a new blog http://wethevoiceless.wordpress.com/ They have made 1 blog post so far which can be seen at the link but there is also a copy of it below:
Shocking Report Just In-There Is Life Outside Your World

Seniors!
With the greatly anticipated 18th birthday approaching each Senior individual, comes the realization that we have the ability to smoke, have sex, watch porn (boys seem to love to recognize this factor), move out as adults, and VOTE! Now while we know the first 4 options are typical choices that we consider, we need to eventually reflect on the power we have as Seniors when voting. Living in such a priveleged community, as victims of pop culture and media, the way we have been raised has shaped our ideas and persona. But on our journey of self-discovery, it’s our unique ability of embracing the ideas of others, and applying those to our own values to come up with an individualistic perspective of the world. This world we are trying to get to, is the world of politics. So even though we may be too lazy to read about our country’s choices of candidates, taking the easy route of voting who are parents are voting for-which is as sad as our pathetic attempt as do-gooders when receiving religion credit for our sad service endeavers- try to be productive for a change… Maybe try to watch the news for once instead of A Shot at Tila Tequila. (Or just tivo it instead.) Because in the end, we promise that you will probably feel more accomplished with your attempt at actually taking interest in the political debate, rather then finding out that Tila Tequila had to choose between Bobby over Dani.

Facts on the candidates will be posted soon…

Iowa ‘08: Barack Obama, Mike Huckabee Score Caucus Victories

Hillary Clinton and John Edwards vying for second place in Democratic caucus.

Storming to victory on the wings of a call for change, Illinois Senator Barack Obama will win the Democratic Iowa caucus. With 97 percent of precincts reporting, CNN projected that Obama would take the first contest of the presidential race with 38 percent of the vote, outpacing former South Carolina Senator John Edwards and New York Senator Hillary Clinton, who were at 30 and 29 percent, respectively, at press time.

The win by a black candidate in what CNN analyst Jack Cafferty called “the whitest place outside of the North Pole” dealt a major blow to the campaign of Clinton, who had been the presumptive front-runner for much of the year. The lead on the Democratic side had shifted repeatedly among the top three candidates over the course of Thursday evening (January 3), but as predicted, Obama appeared to have tapped into a wellspring of support among first-time caucus-goers and younger voters.

And with 85 percent of precincts reporting, CNN has projected that former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will win the Republican Iowa caucus with 34 percent of the vote, compared to 25 percent for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, who has conceded, according to The New York Times.

CNN’s analysis of polling showed that among voters 17-24 years old, Obama got 57 percent of the vote, while Clinton, who conceded to Obama, did not finish among the top three in that category. Stunningly, 57 percent of Obama’s caucus supporters were ages 17-29, while only 18 percent of them were 65 years or older. In the crucial independent segment of voters — which make up almost a quarter of voters in Iowa — Obama had 41 percent backing to Clinton’s 17 percent.

The rest of the Democratic field failed to sway a significant portion of the electorate, with New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson pulling just 2 percent of voters and Delaware Senator Joseph Biden clocking in at 1 percent. The bottom tier of Democratic candidates — Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd, former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel and Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich — failed to gain any percentage of the vote at press time. According to CNN, Dodd announced as the caucus results were coming in that he would be abandoning his bid for the Democratic nomination.

Among Republicans, Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson came in a distant third at 14 percent, followed by Arizona Senator John McCain at 13 percent. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who hardly campaigned in the state, came in at a disappointing sixth in the field, pulling just 4 percent of the vote, trailing long-shot anti-war candidate Ron Paul, who took 10 percent of the vote.

Just as the Iowa defeat was a major blow to Clinton’s campaign, which is among the most well-financed of all the candidates, the come-from-behind win by Huckabee came despite a huge outlay of cash by Romney in Iowa. Huckabee, a Baptist minister who was polling in the low single digits just six months ago, appeared to have appealed to the all-important segment of Christian conservative voters in Iowa, some of whom may have shied away from casting their lot with Romney, who is a member of the Mormon church, which some evangelicals view with skepticism. According to CNN, entrance polls showed that more than 60 percent of Republicans who caucused were evangelicals.

Speaking to CNN from Florida, Giuliani congratulated Huckabee, admitted that he didn’t campaign very hard in Iowa [ACTUALLY IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT HUCKABEE SPENT AS MUCH TO CAMPAIGN AS ROMNEY SPENT ON HIS CATERING BILL. WHICH SHOWS THAT HUCKABEE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A STRONG CANDIDATE IN THE ELECTION AFTER WINNING OVER IOWA.] and emphasized that he has been putting his focus on 29 different states, specifically Florida, which his campaign has said he is expecting to win later in the month. “Some people have paid a lot of resources to one state. We’ve kind of spread it out,” Giuliani said. “We’re ready for whatever the outcome is.”

The loss in Iowa is not a death blow for Romney — who has already spent $40 million of his own money on the campaign — but it does now put him into a more intense battle in the upcoming New Hampshire primary on Tuesday. There, he is expected to go head to head with McCain, who has lavished more of his attention in that state, where he is fast gaining on Romney.

The message of experience that has been the most frequent talking point from Clinton, who has often spoken on the campaign trail about what she would do when she is president, appeared to have lost out to Obama’s message of change and fresh blood. CNN predicted that if Obama could ride Thursday’s surge into New Hampshire, where the two candidates are currently in a dead heat, the once seemingly unstoppable Clinton political machine could be in serious trouble.

Something else I have gotten is their IP Address from their comment, yay moderation! I will post more concerning this later.

Edit: Unfortunately there is not much to go on with an IP Address of 68.4.241.102 but I do know that it is a Cox Communications IP so that is something and this poster is the same one that commented on John’s site. So it seems this is another version of the voice.
